The Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has sent a congratulatory message to all Muslim Ummah in the state and Nigeria for a successful completion of this year’s fasting.
Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for allowing peace to reign supreme in Osun State in his Sallah message released and made available to news men in Osogbo today, the State Chairman of the party Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo advised indigenes to continue to imbibe the doctrines of Ramadan which he said “centres on self discipline, endurance, perseverance, forgiveness, tolerance and selfless love for others.”
Adagunodo said “the tenets of Ramadan is unequivocally repetitive of the need to feel the pains of the less privileged and helpless members of the society.”
He however, advised all Muslims “not to go back to their old ways of life that Ramadan has cleansed them from. He also assured them that by the Grace of Allah, all our expectations in Osun State would soon come to fruition as Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke will soon become our governor and a unprecedented economic improvements will come to Osun which will reduce sufferings in our society. “
