Activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore expressed shock after witnessing a young man being flogged inside a court in Abuja.
According to Sowore, the Wuse Chief Magistrate Court sentenced the young man to 15 strokes of the cane after the police accused him of fighting with a prostitute. He highlighted that the young man was arraigned in court without any legal representation.
