Soldiers In Search Of Abducted Colleague Raids IPOB Hideout, Recovers INEC Equipment (See Photos)

In an attempt to rescue an abducted soldier, Staff Sergeant Bassey Ikunugwan, the Nigerian Army on Thursday raided the hideouts of the Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network in Amangu Community, Abia State.

The Army said in a statement released on Wednesday that Ikunugwan, who was on leave, was abducted on November 2 along the Okwu-Ebem Ohafia Road.

During the multi-day raids, weapons, mobile phones, a motorcycle, INEC equipment, and other items were recovered.
