Ronke Oluwoye To Be Installed As Yeye Atayese Of Iwo Oke Kingdom Wednesday

A retired US-based healthcare professional, Dr. (Mrs.) Ronke Olutoyin Oluwoye, née Akande, will be formally installed as the Yeye Atayese of Iwo Oke Kingdom on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

According to information obtained by an Amiloaded correspondent, the installation ceremony will be held at the Community Grammar School Sports Field, Iwo Oke, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. prompt.

The chieftaincy title conferment, to be hosted by the Oluwo of Iwo Oke, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul-Kadiri Adeoye II, is in recognition of Dr. Ronke Oluwoye’s socio-economic empowerment of women and educational advancement of rural youths.

It was gathered that the reception for guests will take place immediately after the ceremony at the Guest House, Iwo Oke.

Married for over 40 years to Professor Emeritus Jacob Oluwoye, Dr. Oluwoye co-founded the Jacob Ronke Oluwoye Foundation in 2020, a non-governmental organization focused on rural community development, health and wellness, women’s empowerment, and educational support for children and youths in Osun State, Nigeria.

Dr. Oluwoye is a prominent member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, Huntsville, Alabama, and serves on the leadership team of the Northeast District of the Alabama State Baptist Convention.

She is also a member of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention Incorporated Women’s Auxiliary and currently serves as President of the Nigeria Women Association in North Alabama, Huntsville.

Dr. Oluwoye is an executive member of The Osun Indigenes Organization (TOIOG), USA Chapter, and a member of the Ejigbo Baptist High School Old Students Association, where she serves as a Matron.

She is also the Matron of the Ejigbo Bibiire Sisters’ Club, Ejigbo, and a member of Iwo Road Baptist Church, Monatan, Ibadan.
