A Nigerian man has cried out after Zenith Bank deducted ₦1M from his account, sharing details about the unauthorized transaction.
The man, identified as @leodey4u on X (formerly Twitter), shared that he was unaware of the deduction until after six days.
A transaction receipt attached to the tweet shows that ₦1,185,691.07 was deducted from the man’s account on February 6, 2026.
”I just logged in to my zenith bank app only to see that I was debited 1 million+ 6days ago for what I don’t know ”, He tweeted.
According to the X user, this is a recurring incident as Zenith Bank deducted ₦6,701.83 from his account in December 2025.
”This is actually not the first time they’re tampering with my money. Mumu, me still go dey put money in the bank? I don sha clear the account; they no fit see my penny AGAIN,” He stated.
