A video is making the rounds on social media that reveals the moment an elderly man weeps profusely in Bank over inability to withdraw from his account.
In a video posted on Monday, February 13th, 2023 an elderly man broke down in tears in a bank because he couldn’t withdraw money from his account as a result of naira scarcity in the country.
The man stated that he was unable to purchase drugs or food because he couldn’t access the cash in his bank account.
Speaking in Yoruba, he said, “ I have not eaten since this morning, when it is not that I did not have my money… The person that sells drugs said that he will not sell drugs for me if I don’t bring money. When it is not that I don’t have my money.”
In the video, the man who seems to suffering from stroke said he trekked from from Apata to the bank due to inability to access his money as he has been suffering.

Den pump out new note massively on the 26th. With this , nobody would collect old note from you even if you are trying to buy it , cos they will tell you bank won’t take it from them again.
