Reactions As Davido’s Dad Supports Palace Project In Ede With N150M (Video)

Billionaire Adedeji Adeleke, the father of popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido recently got social media abuzz following a viral video of him where he makes a huge donation at an event in Lagos.

The businessman was among the notable figures in attendance in Ede, Osun State, on Monday, June 13th, 2024, as the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, bestowed the title of “Asiwaju of Edeland” upon Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle.

However, the major highlight from the event was the moment Davido’s dad Adedeji Adeleke who speaks in Yoruba donated a whooping N150M to construct a new palace for the Timi of Ede.

While speaking, Davido dad said that the price tag for the palace project in Ede is N1.5billion and by extension, he believes his younger brother Ademola Adeleke who is the state governor would assist in contributing the N1b.

He noted that from the remaining N500M, he would donate the sum of N150M personally from his own pocket.
