In celebration of the church women’s 2023 program, the RCCG Breakforth Assembly in Odi-Olowo, Osogbo organized a free medical check-up for women, with men also being able to partake in the benefits.
The initiative was spearheaded by Mrs. Olagunju Patience Adefunke, the women’s coordinator of the church.
Mrs. Adefunke recognized the importance of regular medical check-ups, as many people struggle to find the time to visit hospitals frequently for such appointments. The well-being of individuals is crucial in order to live a healthy life and serve the Lord fervently.
Taking charge of the medical check-up was Dr. Olagunju Abiodun Abioye, along with a team of dedicated medical practitioners including Matron Amusan, who though retired, remained committed to the noble cause. Other members of the medical team included Miss Mary, Miss Kenny, Miss Opeyemi, and several others.
During the event, the medical team conducted various tests and screenings, such as checking glucose (sugar) levels, conducting hepatitis B screenings, and measuring blood pressure for both church members and non-members alike. This comprehensive approach ensured that a wide range of health concerns could be addressed, benefiting a large number of people.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 100 individuals benefiting from the free medical check-up. This initiative not only provided valuable healthcare services to the community but also highlighted the church’s commitment to the overall well-being of its members and the public.
By offering essential medical services accessible to all, the RCCG Breakforth Assembly demonstrated its dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle among its congregation, fostering a stronger and more vibrant community.
