Ramadan: Romeo Urges Muslims To Embrace Sacrifice, Pray For Nigeria

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and House of Representatives aspirant, Prince Dr. Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, urging them to embrace the spiritual significance of the fasting period.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Prince Romeo described Ramadan as a sacred time of devotion, self discipline and renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam, noting that the month offers believers the opportunity to strengthen their faith and relationship with Allah.

He encouraged Muslims to use the fasting period to promote peace, love and unity within their communities, stressing that Ramadan teaches compassion, generosity and concern for the less privileged.

The APC chieftain urged the faithful to intensify prayers for the progress, stability and prosperity of Nigeria, especially at a time when collective support and understanding are needed for national development.

Romeo also called on Muslims to reflect on the values of patience, humility and sacrifice, adding that the lessons of Ramadan should extend beyond the fasting period and shape everyday conduct.

He appealed to well meaning individuals to support the vulnerable during the holy month through acts of charity and kindness, in line with the spirit of Ramadan.

Prince Romeo prayed for strength, good health and divine blessings for all Muslims observing the fast, expressing hope that the holy month would bring peace and abundant rewards to every household.
