Police Arrest Man For Falsely Accusing Officers Of Phone Theft

AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE

The Delta Police Command has arrested a young man, Isaac, for alleging that officers stole his phone (Samsung fold 4) while conducting their stop and search duties.

In a video shared by Delta Police Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe on Thursday, October 24, an incident involving a man named Isaac was detailed. After being searched and released, Isaac discovered that his phone was missing. He subsequently contacted his friend Fejiro, who admitted to having the phone. Isaac then instructed Fejiro to deny possessing the device in an attempt to accuse and undermine the officers who had conducted the stop-and-search operation on him.

Captioning the Video, Edafe wrote: “We are just doing our job, I dont know why someone who was searched and asked to go will choose to come back intentionally to implicate the Police. He knew the samsung Phone (fold 4) was with his friend, he told his friend to deny knowledge so he can accuse the policemen of taking it.”

The police spokesperson however disclosed that both of them would be arraigned in court soon.
