The Delta State police command has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a man who was captured in a viral video assaulted by men of the Nigerian police in the state.
The Command condemned the act by tweeting with the handle @DeltaPoliceNG on Monday, urging the public to help locate the man or send the police Complaints Response Unit number to the victims.
The video which went viral on Monday shows how three policemen were busy beating the yet-to-be-identified man while two officers were also beating the second victim.
King Pere, posted the video on his X handle as @Official_pere, with the caption, “See what the police are doing to students in Ozoro Delta state just returning from school.”
