Pastor K!lls Female Member, Abducts Daughter In Port Harcourt

AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE

Pastor Blessing Otobo, the General Overseer of Unstoppable Gospel Movement Ministry, alias Prevailers “Praise Ministry”, Port Harcourt, Rivers State has allegedly killed one Mrs Gloria Ijeoma Ndubuisi Ogu.

Late Ogu, a native of Umuehie Duruodu, Umuezeala Nsu Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo State died in April and was buried this month.

After the death and burial of her husband 20 years ago, Mrs Ogu left her husband’s house with her four-month-old baby, Chidera, for Port Harcourt, where she lived with Pastor Otobo.

Chidera, 20, who was not present at her mother’s funeral, has been allegedly held in confinement by the pastor with efforts by her relatives to reach her frustrated by Otobo.

Lamenting the development, brother to the deceased woman, Chinedu Anorue, said his sister was brainwashed with fake prophecies, such that she was sick and was placed on oxygen but no one told him about it.

He said Otobo turned his sister against him because he rebuked her for having unholy relationship with a man of God, adding that Otobo’s real wife, Anwuri Chukuigwe, had reported the unholy relationship between them.

“We told my sister that since your husband has died, you may decide to get married to any other man if you wish, we will support that rather than getting on with this pastor.

“Unfortunately, when suitors seek her hand in marriage, the pastor will give her prophesy that the person is not her husband. This he has been doing to hold her down to himself to live with him at the detriment of his marriage.

”Their relationship brought so much insult to my family. Since her husband had died, she gave us the impression that her brothers and sister in-laws were not ready to accept and take care of her. As the brother, I decided to stand by her not knowing she was telling us lies.

“They were asking her to come home, they were also supporting her. All these she was doing to safeguard her amorous relationship with this faceless so called pastor.

“She displaced the pastor’s wife which I cautioned and kicked against. I did not support that as well as our family, we have tried to bring out my sister from the hand of this fake pastor to no avail.

“The pastor gave fake prophesy to the daughter of my sister ‘Chidera’ not to attend the mother’s burial and she did not come rather she was in Port Harcourt living with the pastor celebrating birthday with him when she would have been in mourning mood.

“This pastor brainwashed my sister, he brainwashed Chidera not to attend the burial that God revealed to him that she should not come. This man has given us tough time in this family, my brother and my sister there in Port Harcourt are also brainwashed. They all conspired to push the pastor’s wife away and took over the home.

“Because my sister was dully married that was why I had to trace her husband’s family in Ehime Mbano to bring her corpse back to her matrimonial home. Let’s find a way to bring out Chidera from the man before it is too late,” Anorue alleged.

Noting that his sister’s other daughter who was now 22 had been with him since she was seven, Anorue said she was currently in the nursing school.

Anorue pleaded with his in-laws to join him in the rescue of Chidera from the pastor.

The first child, Amarachi also pleaded for help to bring back her only sister from the pastor’s confinement. “I am worried that my sister may be wasted in that house the way my mother was wasted,” Amarachi lamented.

She said she was shocked her sister Chidera was not at the burial of their mother to pay her the last respect.

“It was unbelievable, am so pained and bewildered that this pastor has succeeded to kill my mother and now on my sister. It’s almost a year since I spoke with her last.”

Am very convinced my sister Chidrea is not in her right senses. This pastor has been deceiving her with his fake prophesies.

“How can any sensible person, a young girl whose father is late is not showing any desire to unite with her only surviving sister, is it normal?” She asked.

When contacted, the pastor who tried to evade questions told the reporter to go and speak to one Ikechukwu, a brother to the late Ogu. After explaining why his side of the story was important, Otobo said he was inside a mall.

Asked if he should be contacted later, Otobo said: “Am not afraid of what you are going to write. I have told you am in a supermarket don’t you get that? If you are a professional, you ought to get that. Let me get out of this place, what kind of nonsense is this.” He hung the call and his phone was subsequently switched off.
