A recent event in Osun has sparked controversy, with the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Olaoye Ghandi, reportedly snubbing the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Bola Oyebamiji.
In a viral video circulating online shows Oyebamiji attempting to shake hands with the monarch, only to be ignored .
However, a moment later, Oyebamiji was seen kneeling to greet the wife of former governor Gboyega Oyetola, Kafayat, at the same event.
Many have taken to social media to question the APC candidate’s actions, pointing out the contrast between his treatment of the Soun and his show of deference to the former first lady.
Oyebamiji has not publicly commented on the incident as at the press time.
