
The Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has reiterated the readiness of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reclaim power in Osun State by 2026.
Oyebamiji made this known on Monday during a media parley with journalists.
The APC governorship aspirant expressed satisfaction with the level of grassroots mobilization carried out by party members across the state.
According to him, “APC people have worked so hard, they love AMBO, and want AMBO to take over from the present government, we won’t disappoint them”
He stated that the people have shown strong support for his ambition, adding that he would work hard to justify their trust if given the mandate.
Oyebamiji also assured the people that he would not disappoint them, promising to intensify his efforts to deliver good governance.
The NIWA boss also disclosed that all APC governorship aspirants in Osun have agreed to unite and support whoever emerges as the party’s standard bearer for the 2026 election.
