A fresher of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has gone viral on social media following the circulation of a video showing her engaged in a heated confrontation with a female lecturer.
The clip, which has sparked widespread reactions online, shows the student involved in a tense altercation with the lecturer while security officials struggled to restrain her.
The incident drew the attention of many on campus, turning the area into a scene of commotion as students and staff looked on.
The video, which has gained significant traction on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), was shared by a user identified as @thisisdmt01.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the clash between the fresher and the lecturer remains unclear.
However, the incident has triggered intense debate online, with many users accusing the student of being disrespectful to the lecturer and speculating that she could face serious disciplinary action, including possible expulsion.
