Nigerians are searching for the 26-year-old lady featured in a viral video where she disclosed turning to prostitution to fund her goitre surgery.
The lady, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, was featured in a video interview by a street comedian, Comicmiss2.
In the interview, she revealed a swelling in her neck region and said she was diagnosed with goitre.
“This is the major thing that brought me to the street. To get money and pull it out.
“I know that God will surely help me,” she said.
She revealed that the last time she checked, the cost was N700,000 but she had no idea if the fee had changed.
“I swear on my mum’s grave, I will stop doing it.
“Because I am doing it doesn’t mean that’s what I wish to do,” she added.
The comedian who interviewed her revealed on her Facebook page that she’s been unable to reach her.
“Trying to call her to seek permission to drop her number but her line isn’t connecting through but once she confirms that, I will drop her number in case anyone wants to reach out to her to help,” Comicmiss2 wrote on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the founder of Money Africa, a financial literacy company, Oluwatosin Olaseinde, has joined the search.
“Who wants to join me? Let’s raise the funds for her to get the surgery so she can leave the street.
“According to her, that’s why she’s there. 1.) Find her 2.) Raise funds for her surgery,” she wrote on X.
One Emeka wrote, “Have you found her yet? My house is a walking distance to the mall, I can help find her if need be.”
As of the time of publication, there’s been no report that she’s been located.
In the video, she revealed that she is currently in Asaba, Delta State, despite initially engaging in “hookup” in Enugu State.
