The Nigeria Police Force has declared Adeodun Ogunse Omotoyosi wanted in Ogun State.
According to a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued under the authority of the Inspector General of Police, the declaration was made on March 24, 2023.
The bulletin stated that Omotoyosi, a 49-year-old native of Abigi in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area, is wanted in connection with allegations relating to his sexuality.
He was reportedly caught in a hotel with a partner, a situation later disclosed to the Muslim community.
The police said a warrant of arrest was issued by the Magistrate and High Court of Abeokuta, Ogun State. The case is being handled by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Ogun State Police Command, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
Omotoyosi is described as Yoruba by tribe, 1.5 meters tall, with brown eyes, light complexion, and a pointed nose. His last known home address is 192, Moborode Odofin Street, Abigi, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Ogun State.
The police urged members of the public with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the Ogun State Police Command.
