‘It Is Time To Work More For Progress Of Edeland’ – FEYDA President, VP Sue For Peace

The President of the Forum of Ede Youth Development Association (FEYDA), Comrade Afolabi Waliu Abiola, and his vice, Oluwadare Morufu Adeniyi, have stated that it is time for the youth of the town to work more for the progress and development of Edeland.

Comrade Afolabi and Morufu stated this while reacting to the outcome of the investigation conducted over the allegations leveled against them by nine members of the executive.

According to them, all the allegations have been carefully investigated and they were found not guilty of any, while noting that it was just a misunderstanding between them and the executive members which has been resolved.

They added that they did not know anything about embezzlement, selling of land, among others, which they were alleged of.

It was gathered that the nine members of the executives who allegedly accused the president and vice-president of wrongdoing have written a rejoinder, withdrawing their allegations, even before the outcome of the BOT investigation.

Comrade Afolabi and Morufu affirmed that FEYDA is a commendable youth forum that fights for the progress and interest of Edeland, through which God Almighty gave them a progressive governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, with their overwhelming support during the last Osun gubernatorial election.

The FEYDA President and VP clearly stated that the forum is not a political group or in affiliation with any political party, adding that their mandate is to support any Ede youth vying for a position in the interest of Ede.

They extended their greetings to the Timi of Edeland, Oba (Dr.) Munirudeen Adesola Laminisa I,and Chiefs, the Ede descendants Union President, Prof Ademola Olaitan, all the elders in the town, and DPO A division Ede North for their support and contribution to the progress of the association and Edeland.

The President and VP acknowledged the effort of the FEYDA Board of Trustees led by Comrade Imran Mojeed Adekunle a.k.a Osama (BOT Chairman) for their timely intervention, fair hearing, and unbiased investigation into the allegations leveled against them, where they were vindicated. They equally thanked his executives for allowing peace to reign.

They, therefore, urged politicians to stay out of the matter, as the forum is not a political group but a youth forum working for the peace and progress of Edeland.
