A former Ekiti State governor’s family has been thrown into shock following an alleged theft involving a domestic worker.

Prince Isaac Fayose, the brother of ex-governor Ayodele Fayose, took to social media on Thursday to accuse a houseboy identified as Emmanuel Simon of stealing 4 million naira from his mother’s Access Bank account and fleeing thereafter.

In a Facebook post, Isaac Fayose stated that the suspect disappeared shortly after the funds were stolen, prompting efforts to involve law enforcement in tracking him down.

He appealed to the public for assistance in locating and arresting the suspect, offering a reward of 500,000 naira to anyone who can aid the police in apprehending Emmanuel.

The post, which featured a clear image of the alleged culprit, has since sparked widespread reactions online.

As of the time of this report, it is unclear whether a formal police statement has been released or if any arrests have been made.
