AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE
The HIDAYAH Entrepreneurs has celebrated its five years anniversary in University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State, AMILOADED reports.
The event with the theme, ‘THE WORLD’S NEW BUSINESSES ORDER’, was held on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
The seminar started in Doha, Qatar in 2019, the second was held in Lagos, Nigeria in 2020, the third one organised in Uganda in 2021, while the fourth one was held in Osun State.
Speaking at the event, the CEO of HIDAYAH Entrepreneur, Mrs Idayat Akanji Ogunlade in appreciated the guest speakers and narrated what they have been doing for the past five years and what led to the entrepreneur platform.
She said the reason behind the platform was to impact lives positively and to build Entrepreneurs
She said, “The initiative started since 2018 and the main reason why we started the initiative was to impact lives and to build Entrepreneurs. We believe so many people nurtured the fear of starting up a business, so we will be able to encourage them.”
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Mr Abayomi Abdulroheem, who is the chief servant of the initiative of sound Education, relationships and health and the executive director of the Al-bayina farms, Osun state, said the seminar was organised to dish out to the young people the new Ways of handling business.
Abayomi said in academy qualification doesn’t matter not only Nigeria but across the globe.
He said, “The era of I have first class, I have certificate, I have second class has gone. Not only in Nigeria but across the world. People are not recruiting Based on what you have, they are recruiting Based on what you have upstairs and what you can deliver,the problem you can solve, the solution you can bring on board”.
One of the guest speakers, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, disclosed how the Oyo State Government has been in supportive of any venture that promises to add value to the youths constituency, saying HIDAYAH ENTREPRENEUR was part of it.
He enjoined the youths to venture into business as to make more meaning to life and more meaning out of life.
The CEO of BN Ballo charity Concept Nigeria, Dr Ibrahim Alli Adelani, who was also one of guest speakers in partner with HIDAYAH ENTREPRENEUR, donated sewing machines to two young ladies named, Balogun fathia Ayomide and Faidaro fatia.
The chief host of the event, Mrs Badmus Rasheedat Okanlawon, stated that HIDAYAH ENTREPRENEUR was a non- governmental organisation as they are saddled with the responsibility of assisting people to achieve their goals as she appreciated the chairman of the occasion, the CEO and the administrators.
The chairman presented award to the quest speakers as he was also awarded by Dr Ibrahim Alli Adelani.
