The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi gubernatorial candidate, Dino Melaye, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the election, stating that an electoral officer in the Okehi Local Government Area of the state opened his office for thumb printing of ballot papers for the APC candidate.
The video showed some unidentified persons stamping and thumb printing on ballot papers.
Captioning the video, Dino wrote: “This is just one out of the many crimes they’re trying to cover.
“Electoral Officer, Okehi LGA opened his office for thumb printing of ballot papers for APC Candidate. This was done to enable them to meet up with the figure pre filled on the result sheet. Police over to you.”
The off-season election which held across three states on November 11 including Kogi state produced Usman Ododo of the APC as the winner.
