The management, staff and students of Global Leaders Academy, after an academic year, have held their graduation and prize giving ceremony, AMILOADED reports.
The ceremony which is the maiden graduation and prize giving day, took place in the school premises on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
The ceremony was attended by the Osun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Uzamotu who was the chairman of the day, Chief Magistrate F I Omisade, Dr Omobowa of the College of Medicine, Uniosun, Dr Siji and Mrs Grace Olamiju, both Proprietors of the Academy, staff and students.
In her opening speech, the Proprietress, Mrs Olamiju, said, “the core values of the Academy is to produce respectable leaders globally, who in turn impact the society positively.
The school administrator, Mrs Olowe, welcomed everyone present and thanked God for the first graduation ceremony of the school and the achievements so far.
The ceremony sported presentations by the school choir and toddlers, drama, cultural dance, rhymes, choreography, instrumentals, much to the admiration of parents and guests present at the occasion who were entertained.
Dr Afolayan, a former Permanent Secretary, Magistrate Omisade amd Dr Omobowa flanked by other members of the high table, gave the youngsters presidential handshakes and blessings for greater achievements in life.
Professor K Olusegun presented certificates to the students, Magistrate Omisade did the presentation of Testimonials, while Dr Omobuwa was the Scholar of the day,
The deserving students were also presented with their prizes.
Others dignitaries at the event were Prof EO Akanmu, Dr Abayomi Oni, CD, Hospitals Management Board ,Osun, Dr Bello, Director of Public Health, Osun, Polaris Bank manager, fakunle, Osogbo, among others.
