The Special Adviser on Federal Project Implementation to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Emmanuel Obasi, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the election petition tribunal.
In a statement issued by Hon. Obasi on Wednesday, he said Governor Ododo is a good man and a humble leader who loves the people of Kogi State.
Chief Obasi urged the opposition candidates to sheathe their swords and accept the victory of Governor Ododo in good faith for the progress of Kogi State.
Parts of the statement read, “Your Excellency, I happily join your team, APC family, your friends and supporters across the State to thank God for giving you victory at the Election Petition Tribunal that delivered its verdict recently. You are a winner, any time, any day and you will continue to win because you are a good man, you are a humble leader and your love for the good people of Kogi State is unparalleled.
“We are really happy and grateful to God for making you stand strong to serve the good people of Kogi State.
“We also call on the opposition candidates to sheath their sword and accept the victory of Gov Ododo in good faith insofar as they know that all powers belong to God and He shows mercy to whom He will show mercy.”
