A group, Diaspora Support for Asiwaju (DSA), has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for winning the presidential election, AMILOADED reports.
The DSA in a statement signed by its General Secretary, Bimbo Amusan, on Wednesday, said, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been a priceless global icon, an indefatigable fighter for democracy, an inextinguishable guiding light to the nation and an inspiration to us all in the progressives family.”
The group said Tinubu as APC National Leader, has continued to play significant roles in the growth and development of the country, adding that he has the capacity to provide the needed political sagacity that would reinforce and continue to ensure the country’s democratic attainments as Nigeria’s President.
“Nigeria needs a man whose actions will draw from the bounties of floating ideas enriched by creative engagements of his mind, powered by the dynamics of his visions.
“I commend our great party, the National Working Committee, delegates and all other units and structures of the party across the country for their collective efforts in ensuring the success of the convention
“I also commend the Director General of the Nigeria in Diaspora for Asiwaju group Mrs. Fola Olumo,
“I have no doubt that with Asiwaju’s unmatched track record, experience, antecedents and political acuity, he will succeed as President,” Amusan added.
