Babatunde Gbadamosi, a businessman, real estate developer, and politician, has urged Nigerians to take up arms to defend themselves against terrorists.
He shared the advice on X, sparking divided opinions.
He wrote: “Dear Nigerians, Arm Yourselves. Buy Crossbows. Buy AK-47 rifles. Buy GPMGs. Buy RPG Launchers.
“Buy LAVs – they are made in Nigeria. Buy Drones.
“Learn to use them.
“Resist ANY attempt to disarm you. Anybody who tries to disarm you wants you to be murd£red.
“Age is no excuse. Gender is no excuse. Religion is no excuse.
“If you refuse, your de@th at the hands of Fulani Muslim Jihadist Terrorists will be your own fault. #TakeYourFitnessSeriously.”
His followers reacted to his tweets by questioning how regular citizens would be able to afford or access arms and drones.
