Former Lagos State Governor and presidential aspirant, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the standard-bearer come 2023 general election. AMILOADED reports.
Tinubu emerged as a candidate at the end of the presidential primary with 1271 votes.
AMILOADED had earlier reported that, Demeji Bankole, Godswill Akapio, Ibikunle Amosun,Kayode Fayemi, Others withdrawn from the presidential race to support the former Lagos State Governor.
Aspirants who lock horns in the race are Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajuba (1vote), Pastor Tunde Bakare(0 vote), Mr Ahmed Rufai, Senator Rochas Okorocha(0 vote), Mr Jack Rich(0 vote), Gov. Ben Ayade(37 votes), Gov. David Umuahi(38 votes), Dr Ahmed Lawan (152 votes), Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo(235 votes), Mr Rotimi Amaechi (316 votes), Gov. Yahaya Bello(47 votes) and Mr Ogbonnaya Onu(1 vote).
