Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his commitment to continue developing the state till 2030.
Gov Adeleke stated this in an interview with Arise News Daily, adding that the Osun people can see the difference between his administration and others who just want to be in power solely to add to their titles rather than to serve.
The governor said that Osun All Progressive Congress (APC) members will vote for him and his party, the PDP, in the 2026 governorship election.
According to Governor; “It is a simple arithmetic. We carry out survey on a periodic basis from the people of Osun State, and it is evident that the love and support we are getting is real; the people are satisfied with what we are doing, and now, they will continue to support us because we shall also continue to add more value to their lives.
“A member of the opposition party recently went on radio and said that what my administration has done in two years is what the previous administration could not do in four years. In fact, he said my administration is doing everything they advised them to do but which they didn’t do. Now, if that is coming from a member of their party, then it is obvious that even members of their party will vote for me and will vote for the PDP in 2026.
AMILOADED had earlier reported that the Osun state government has kicked-started a week-long program to celebrate Gov Adeleke’s two-year anniversary in office.
Governor Adeleke was sworn in on November 27, 2022, after he defeated the current Minister of Blue Economy and Marine, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
