BREAKING: Meta Restores WhatsApp Services After Two-Hour Outage

After almost two hours of outage on Tuesday, Meta has restored WhatsApp services.

At around 8:20AM on Tuesday, users of WhatsApp observed that they could no longer receive or send messages, while status could not longer be updated.

It was observed that the application was down world over as people from different locations took to Twitter and other social media apps to express their displeasure.

However, at 9:45AM, it was observed that users started receiving messages, while sent ones showed they have been delivered.

Meta, the owner of WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, is yet to make a statement about the development.
