The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), Osun state polytechnic, Iree chapter has suspended academic activities over the suspension of the Institution Rector, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo.
The union discribed the suspension as an aberration which against the constitution of the institution.
The Chairman of the union, Dr. Fatai Afolabi declared the suspension of the academic activities indefinitely on Tuesday.
AMILOADED had earlier reported that the protesting union staff chanting solidarity song baricaded the main campus entrance in iree which left the students writing exam stranded.
