Former Osun Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has described former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as deceptive and not an honest person.
Adeoti made the allegation while speaking on “So Kan Wa Special” on Agidigbo FM in Ibadan.
During the programme, Adeoti alleged that Aregbesola, who appointed him as SSG during his administration, was aware of the significant roles they both played in their political journey.
He maintained that despite Aregbesola being governor at the time, he could not deny his contributions, stressing that their electoral victories in Osun State were achieved through collaborative efforts.
The former SSG further claimed that they used to hold monthly political meetings at Aregbesola’s residence in Ilesa.
However, he alleged that since his departure from the political camp, such meetings had not been held in the last three months, suggesting that his exit had weakened the structure.
Adeoti also stated that Aregbesola was aware of his governorship ambition but expressed disappointment over how events unfolded.
He noted that the situation within the camp changed after his exit, claiming that there were no longer enough supporters to sustain the structure.
