Alleged False Rape: Ogun Police Release Update On Mirabel

The Ogun State Police Command has given an update on Abigeal Nsikak, popularly known as Mirabel on TikTok, following the rape allegation she made online.

In a statement released this on February 25, the command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said upon her visit to the police station, she was received and taken to a medical facility for necessary examination to verify her claims. She has continued to cooperate with investigators as due process progresses.

Babaseyi mentioned that in consideration of her welfare and support needs, she has been released to the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. The Ministry has undertaken responsibility for her care and has assured the Command that she will be made available whenever required as investigations continue.

He assure the public that the matter is being handled with professionalism, sensitivity, and diligence. He urged members of the public to refrain from speculation and allow the investigation to run its full course. Further updates will be provided as necessary.

Mirabel became an internet session after she shared a video in which she recounted how she was purported raped by a an anonymous man who invaded her home. Mirabel who is oan orphan, later had a chat with spcial critic, Very Dark Man, who she informed that she made up the story. She claimed she is depressed and has a lot on her man.
