The University of Abuja has confirmed that Sadiya Usman, who was earlier declared missing, has been found.
According to a statement issued by the Acting Director of Information and University Relations, Dr. Habib Yakoob, on Friday, said the student was located at about 11:49 p.m on Thursday.
The university expressed appreciation to its staff, security agencies, and members of the public for their swift response, support, and prayers during the period of her disappearance.
Part of the statement reads, “The University of Abuja is pleased to inform the general public that Miss Sadiya Usman, who was earlier reported missing, has been found.
“She was located at about 11:49 p.m. and is safe, unhurt, and in stable condition.
“The University expresses its sincere appreciation to the staff, security agencies, and members of the public for their swift response, support and prayers during the period.”
