Romeo Renovates Aruru Gbemu Royal House Hall In Osogbo

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and House of Representatives aspirant, Prince Dr. Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo has completed the renovation and upgrade of the Aruru Gbemu Royal House Hall in Osogbo.

The facility, situated inside the historic Aruru Royal Family compound, has been remodelled into a more befitting structure with improved facilities and upgraded furnishings aimed at enhancing usability, convenience and the status of the royal house.

Prince Romeo, who hails from the ruling house and is contesting for the 2027 House of Representatives seat for Osogbo Federal Constituency, executed the project to support cultural preservation and foster community growth.

The project covered structural rehabilitation, enhanced interior decoration, installation of modern fixtures, repainting, provision of standing fans, new window blinds, POP ceiling installation and replacement of old furniture to make the hall suitable for family deliberations, cultural events and other important gatherings.

Speaking about the project, Romeo described the renovation as a fulfilment of his obligation as a prince of the Aruru ruling house, noting that contributing to the preservation and honour of the royal heritage remains a personal responsibility.

He further explained that the project aligns with his wider developmental agenda anchored on cultural preservation and community service.

According to him, royal institutions symbolise history, collective identity and unity among the people, stressing that strengthening such institutions helps preserve cultural heritage and secure the future of the community.
