An erudite scholar and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso, is dead.
According to reports, the Ede-born scholar died after a brief illness.
Sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter), a Special Assistant to Governor Adeleke on Digital Media, Olalekan Badmus, expressed sadness over the demise of Prof. Siyan.
He wrote, “Rest in power, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso An illustrious Son of Ede, Osun State and Nigeria. What a sad loss!”
