Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she is yet to experience true love at 44.
The songstress explained that apart from her son, Jamil, she hasn’t experienced true love from anyone.
She emphasised that when she looks back at her past romantic relationships, she realises that they were infatuation and not true love.
“I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son. Because every time I look back at all my relationships, I’m like, nah, that wasn’t love. I was just infatuated. At that time I thought I was in love. I don’t think I experienced true love even when I was married,” the singer said in an interview with Zeze Mills.
Savage said she has now come to the conclusion that maybe love isn’t for her because she has tried over and over to find true love to no avail.
“Maybe love isn’t for me because I have tried over and over again so maybe love isn’t for me this lifetime,” she added.
Recall that Tiwa Savage and her former manager Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz, got married in 2013 but divorced in 2018 after attempts to resolve their differences proved futile.
Their marriage produced a son called Jamil.

Dear Tiwa,
I heard you say you haven’t experienced true love, and it touched my heart deeply. Sometimes, true love comes from the place you least expect
quietly, patiently, without making noise. Somewhere out there, someone is in love with you silently, cherishing you from afar, believing you are far beyond his reach. He has not found the courage to speak, not because he doesn’t feel, but because he holds you in such high regard.
Please, don’t give up on love yet. Be patient, keep your heart open, and dig beneath the surface — you might just discover that your true love has been near you all along, hidden in the quiet shadows, waiting for the right moment.
With respect and admiration,
A Silent Admirer
