The good people of Osun State are in dire need of a compassionate, visionary, and security-conscious leader to steer the affairs of our dear state toward progress and stability.
Among the array of leaders in our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), one name stands out as a beacon of hope, humility, and selfless service—Omooba ‘Dotun Babayemi.
A Philanthropist and Peacemaker
Omooba Babayemi is not just a leader; he is a philanthropist whose generosity knows no bounds. His unwavering commitment to the welfare of his followers and the people of Osun State is unparalleled.
During festive periods such as Eid and Christmas, he ensures that leaders across the state are remembered with gifts, including rams and other essential items. What sets him apart is his inclusivity—he extends his benevolence beyond party lines, reaching all 332 wards in Osun State, including during Ramadan, where he provided support to Muslims observing the fast.
His leadership and being security conscious was most notably displayed during the recent political chaos that erupted in Osun State following the Court of Appeal’s judgment reinstating the authentic Local Government chairmen. While other local governments witnessed violent escalations, Babayemi’s local government remained peaceful. This was no coincidence—it was a testament to his ability to foster unity, maintain order, and prevent crisis even in the face of widespread political tension.
A True Representative of the Party and the People
Omooba Babayemi has consistently represented the APC with dignity, standing in for the leader of our party and the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, whenever duty calls. His articulate and composed demeanor has earned him respect across political divides, with many in opposition parties like the PDP openly expressing their willingness to work with him due to his accommodating and well-behaved nature.

Why He Must Contest for Osun Governorship
