Popular Comedian, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni has sparked controversy after vowing to ignore Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu when they cross paths in the future.

In the past, Mr. Macaroni has been seen on camera deliberately avoiding Sanwo-Olu at public events.

On one occasion, he was compelled to greet the governor, but he has since made it clear that he will not engage with him again.

This stance has drawn different reactions from the public, with some praising his courage and others slamming him for disrespect.

Mr. Macaroni wrote on X: “This is the last time I will address this matter.
It is not worth my peace of mind. Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwoolu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him. And this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer. You people will cry today, tomorrow and forever!”

Reacting to his stance, some view Mr Macaroni’s actions as a bold statement against government impunity, others see it as a sign of disrespect and incivility.
