I congratulate His Excellency, Dr Gboyega Oyetola, CON, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, the leader of the Progressive family, and other leaders of our great party in Osun, on the deserved judgement of the Court of Appeal in Akure some hours ago. The judgement of the Court affirmed the APC as the party rightly elected to be in charge of political administration at the grassroots in Osun. This victory is timely and should be thoroughly celebrated.
Similarly, I commend the Judiciary for staying on the side of the truth despite the bullying tactics employed by some unscrupulous elements to muscle the revered institution into submission, contrary to the tenets of fairness and justice.
To the direct beneficiaries of this judgement, the authentic and legally elected leaders of the various Local Government Areas, you are admonished to work for and with the people. You are equally reminded to hold firmly the tradition of our party as a people-centric political family. In this period, it behooves you to rally the grassroots in support of our party and its policies from the LGAs to the Federal level. You are part of the touch bearers in Osun; keep the flame of development burning until the progressives take over the reign of leadership in the State, once again.
To the good people of Osun, you are the greatest winners. Aku ori re o.
