Rep Oladebo Empowers Constituents With Cash Grant, Farm Input, Rice In Osun

The lawmaker representing Ayedaade, Irewole, and Isokan in the House of Representatives, Hon. Lanre Oladebo, has distributed N20 million in cash grants, rice, and fertilizers to his constituents.

The unveiling of the items, sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development took place at Oke-Ola Apomu in Osun on Monday.

Speaking with newsmen at the event, Hon. Oladebo, who facilitated the empowerment, affirmed that 10,000 people and 1,200 households, including the less privileged, traditional rulers, and religious leaders, would benefit from the items.

Oladebo stated that he prefers food items as empowerment due to inflation and food shortages in the country, allowing people to enjoy their festive periods at home.

The lawmaker emphasized that distributing fertilizers is essential to encourage farmers to return to farming ahead of the next season, addressing food shortages. He urged them to utilize the graded land provided.

In his own remarks, Yemi Onafowole, Representative of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production, Ibadan, said the purpose of his presence was to witness the distribution of 1,200 bags of fertilizer to Hon. Oladebo’s constituents.

He explained that the lawmaker is transparent, and he can see happiness in the people’s faces, while wishing him all the best.

Also speaking, Isokan constituency Representative Oluwafemi commended Hon. Oladebo’s gift-giving efforts, noting his excellent performance since assuming office.

In his words, Nurudeen Ademola appreciated Hon. Oladebo’s kind gesture, expressing enjoyment under his leadership.
