Alowonle Vs Nigerian Police: My Hands Are Clean – Oludo Prince

One of the aspirants for the stool of Oludo of Ido-Osun, Prince Nurudeen Ademola Jimoh, has warned those who are trying to rope him up on the issue between the Nigerian Police Force and OSTMS Chairman, Nurudeen Alowonle, to desist from such ungodly act; saying he acted within the ambits of the law to report to the law enforcement agents when his life was being threatened.

Prince Nurudeen Ademola Jimoh was reacting to the controversy trailing the arrest and shooting of Alowonle; noting that he couldn’t have acted otherwise than to report to the the Security Agents when his life was in danger.

The Ido-Osun Prince and building contractor recalled that he had to report to the police after Alowonle and his boys attacked his office complex and threatened to kill him; saying he could not have waited until he was killed before something should be done.

His words “I couldn’t have waited before i was killed before I act. No! I was in my office on Sunday evening with my staff and some of my friends when we were attacked and my office complex and car were destroyed. And if not for the intervention of the Nigerian Air force personnel from their Oke Baale base and police from Oja Oba division, who came to rescue us, only God knows what would have happened to us”

“And if some rouble rousers are dropping my name over what transpired between the Nigerian Police Force and OSTMS Chairman, Nurudeen Alowonle, then they have a hidden agenda” he added

Prince Nurudeen Ademola Jimoh wondered why his decision to toe the part of law and orderliness became a sin.

“Did they expect me to also engage in reprisal attack or what? Never in my life would I get involved in disturbing pubic peace” he submitted.
