A video of a pastor proposing marriage to a widow has taken the internet by storm and by extension, sparked debates online.
The unexpected incident took place during the burial rites of the widow’s husband, which was attended by the family and close friends.
The surviving wife, dressed in her black clothes, was seen mourning her husband as she sat close to the remains of her husband in a brown coffin.
The pastor, who was also present at the funeral ceremony, then went down on his knees as he popped the question, asking the widow to be his wife.
Immediately, the woman accepted to become his spouse and he put the ring into her finger. The duo then hugged themselves tightly.
The gesture of the pastor and the widow left the attendees in awe as they were shocked seeing them at the funeral rite.
