Emmanuel Obasi Congratulates Gov Ododo On Supreme Court Victory

The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Federal Project Implementation, Hon. Emmanuel Obasi, has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ododo on his final victory at the Supreme Court today, Friday, 23rd August, 2024.

In a congratulatory statement signed by Hon. Obasi on Friday, he said the victory of Gov. Ododo is a clear evidence of God’s choice and a confirmation that power belongs to Him.

Hon. Obasi urged all Kogites to join hands with Governor Ododo to move Kogi State forward.

The statement reads: “Our joy know no bounds are we savour the final victory of His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

“This is clear evidence of God’s choice and confirmation that power belongs to God and He will give it to whosoever He chooses.

1. His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA won primaries, they went to Court and they failed.
2. His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA won the November, 2023 Governorship Election, they went to the State Election Petition Tribunal and he won.
3. When His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA won at the Election Petition Tribunal, they went to the Federal Appeal Court to challenge the ruling and we won again.
4. Yet they aren’t tired. And this last time, when His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA won at the Federal Appeal Court, they hurried to Supreme Court and now Gov Ododo has won again.

“God, we bow down before you. You have put to shame those who desired to put us to shame. Governor Ododo is surely a man for this time. The good people of Kogi State are rejoicing because their wish has been upheld by the highest court in the land.

“All Kogites are therefore enjoined to know that election has come and gone and should joins hands with Governor Ododo to move Kogi State forward.

“My prayer is that God will help your Excellency to satisfy the yearnings of Kogi people by fulfilling all your campaign promises even far beyond the expectations of the people. Congratulations Your Excellency on this final victory”.

“Finally, I join my family and friends to wholeheartedly congratulate my Boss, His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA on this God-given victory and also to immensely thank the Nigerian Judiciary for standing firm on the part of justice and refusing to be swayed to play to the gallery as pressurized by the opposition by dismissing all their empty claims. Both SDP and AA candidates and their few follows should now know that Governor Ododo is Iron Gate. To God alone be all the glory.”
