‘The Judgment Does Not Make Any Sense’ – Deji Adeyanju Reacts As Court Jails Bobrisky

Popular Nigerian activist and Lawyer Deyi Adeyanju in a recent post on social media reacts as crossdresser Bobrisky bags 6months imprisonment.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months in jail with no option of fine.

The judgement was handed this morning, April 12, 2024. Bobrisky will serve the six months imprisonment at the at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.

Reacting to this, Deji Adeyanju disclosed that the judgement made on Bobrisky made no sense stressing that the crossdresser.

He wrote; “Why was maximum sentence given to a first time offender? The judgment does not make any sense. “

“90% of Nigerians are guilty of Naira mutilation including those in government. Law must always have a human face to it no matter the person standing trial before the court..”

general_news_4: If you lack connections, it’s best not to seek trouble. However, Bobrisky’s case illustrates the bias within the Nigerian judicial system.
