For admittance into the state’s transportation union, the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Osun State Chapter, has made a plea to the Adeleke-led administration.
The union head made the appeal on Thursday, December 21 during a state meeting that took place at the TJ Hotel in Otaefun, Osogbo.
Speaking to AMILOADED correspondent, Kazeem Oyewale, also known as Asiri Eniba, pleaded with the State Government to show mercy and make accommodations for the union, given that it hasn’t operated in a year.
In addition to pointing out that the union has been around for a while, Oyewale said that if the union has ever wronged them before they entered government, they should be forgiven and let the NURTW members gain as well.
Additionally, Oyewale sent his compliments and pleaded with Musiliu Akinsanya, the acting National Chairman of NURTW, to take action.
Oyewale who underlined that all state chapters of the union had resumed operations and become stronger, pleaded that Musiliu Akinsanya should step in the matter.
Oyewale also praised Osun State security personnel for their assistance.
Oyewale claims that at times we were told that if we held a meeting, there would be a crisis, but we are grateful that the security was present and there were no issues.
He also urged the union’s members to be patient, saying that he believes that everything will eventually return to normal.
