Osun SSA On Civil Society Organization, Adebisi Emmanuel, Shares Palliatives To Residents, Orphanage, Others

The SSA on Civil Society Organization, Comrade Adebisi Emmanuel Oluwaseun, has shared the palliatives given to the civil society and NGOs in Osun State by the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, AMILOADED reports.


The palliatives were shared in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.


Adebisi stated that there was a template given by the government to share the palliatives, saying, “The state government has done his quota by sending the palliatives out to each local government because we believe that is the grassroots and also a means of it reaching out to everyone. I give kudos to the governor on these.


“This food is not for leaders to keep in their house till December, it is to be shared and I must get report on how it was shared
“Whatever you are giving is to test run your integrity. We are to visit the family of the victim of police brutality.”


A bag of rice was shared into two parts which was given to the family of the victims.
Adebisi said it was necessary to visit the family of the victims disclosing that Adeleke instructed them to share the palliatives to the less privileged and not the rich.


The Abiye Orphanage Home also got a bag of rice which was collected by the administrative officer.


Speaking at the orphanage, Miss Adegoke Bukola who is the administrative officer and also representing the Directors (Pastor Ayorinde and Mr Kolade) said, “We appreciate this kind gesture and pray that the governor, Mr Ademola Adeleke, get more wisdom to do more which he has been doing from time past even before he became the governor.


“I also pray God grants him more wisdom to pilot the state successfully.”


Leaders of civil society, CSO representative, EndSARS movement, NGOs, representative from the widows, representative of the victims of police brutality during EndSARS protest, others were present at the event.
