Osun SSA On Civil Society Organisations, Adebisi Emmanuel, Urges Support For Youth Affairs Commissioner

The Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society Organisations in Osun State, Comrade Adebisi Oluwaseun Emmanuel, has called on the youths in the state to believe in the leadership of the State Commissioner of Youth Affairs, AMILOADED reports.

Adebisi said the various programmes highlighted by the commissioner were for youth development and the progress of Osun State.

The Special Assistant said this in a statement on Sunday.

He stated that there would be a new era of innovation, skills categorization, and positive change with the Imole Youth Corps (IYC) which he said has never been established by the previous administrations’ Youth Empowerment in Osun State.

Adebisi said, “Let me use this opportunity again to commend the Osun State Government for the distinguished honor of my appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society Organisations in Osun State.

“The appointment is not just a personal achievement, but also an affirmation of the critical role that Civil Society Organisations have to play in the development of our dear State. And you have the assurance that every Civil Society Organisation is aligning with the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs.

“Also, let me use this privilege to elucidate the Vision and Mission of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs that there is an anticipation of a new era of innovation, skills categorization, and positive change with the Imole Youth Corps (IYC) which has never been established by the previous administrations’ Youth Empowerment in the State.

“Secondly, creating and implementing a scheme to secure the communities and curb suspicious activities in the State is a commendable initiative by the Honourable Commissioner of Youth Affairs. This effort could potentially foster a safer environment and promote community engagement. It is important to ensure that the scheme is well-planned, involves collaboration with relevant stakeholders, and includes effective measures to address security concerns.

“And lastly, transforming the Imole Youth Corps from poverty alleviation to wealth creation in Osun State is another commendableinitiative that can bring about positive change and permanent employment of the Youth in the State.

“I, therefore, urged the Youth in our dear State to relax and trust the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner of Youth Affairs.”
