A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi has described the erstwhile governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, as a pragmatic leader whose administration would never be forgotten in Osun and Nigeria as a whole.
Babayemi who stated this in his congratulatory message to Oyinlola on his 72nd birthday, said the Okuku-born Prince has been outstanding in his services to humanity.
“As a true Prince, he has lived up to his calling in all engagements he has been saddled with both as a topnotch military man and as a politician. In this wise, his impact in Lagos as a Milad and in Osun as a civilian governor, can never be wished away by the tide of time” he noted
Babayemi enthused that Oyinlola’s wealth of experience would continued to be savoured by his people, the state and the nation as a whole.
“To this effect, one can not but wish him a continuous God’s guidance filled with good health and the needed strength” said the PDP chieftain
Meanwhile,he has called on the up and coming generations to continue to follow the footsteps of people like Oyinlola in order to make the society worthwhile due to his selflessness.
