The Lagos state government on Friday paraded Drambi Vandi, the police officer who allegedly shot and killed pregnant Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, in the Ajah area of the state on Christmas day, December 25. AMILOADED reports.
The state Commissioner for Information and Culture, Gbenga Omotoso, disclosed this on Twitter.
”BREAKING: Drambj Vandi, the police officer who allegedly shot Bolanle Raheem, set for remand proceedings at Yaba Magistrate’s Court in a few minutes. Lagos Attorney-General Moyo Onigbanjo leads prosecution”
However, the Lagos Police Public Relation Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin has confirmed that the officer has been remanded in Ikoyi Prison till January, 30,2023 to give room for DPP advice.
“Drambi Vandi was, this morning, arraigned in court and has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till January 30, 2023 to give room for DPP advice”. He tweeted.
