BREAKING: KWASU VC, Prof Akanbi Is Dead

The Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi (SAN) has reportedly died.

It was gathered that, he will be buried tomorrow 21st November, 2022 at his Ilorin country home.

It was learnt that the Senior Advocate of Nigeria died in Dubai, United Arab Emirates after months of medical treatment.

Late Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi became a Professor at the age of 41 years and was appointed as Vice Chancellor at 49 years. He is a former Director of Unilorin School of Preliminary Studies and also the son of former President of The court of Appeal and pioneer Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences, Justice Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi.

He died at aged 51.
