Olowu of Kuta, Oba Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun II, has celebrated his 10th years coronation anniversary, AMILOADED reports.
In a message by his media office on Saturday, Olowu, who expressed his appreciation to God and the people for their support, said the reward of hard work is more work, adding that he has enjoyed tremendous goodwill from the people over the years.
He also thanked God for his modest achievements through micro credit scheme and other empowerment programs championed by his wife to the people.
Olowu said the anniversary was not an elaborate one to reflect the mood of the nation and prayed God heal Nigeria and restore sanity in the country’s security and economic sectors, which he said are two most viable indexes for growth.
He further thanked Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, and former Chief of Army Staff and Nigeria Ambassador to Benin Republic, Tukur Buratai, for the construction of Kuta-Ede bridge.
Oba Makama said, “I want to use this occasion to thank all well-meaning individuals across the country who have contributed to the development of my kingdom and people, God be with you all.”
Also speaking on his Facebook page, the monarch said, “To God be the glory. 10 years ago we made Convenant with our people and God.
“Looking back, we have indeed covered a legacy milestone. Eledumare modupe ooo.
